HDR Method

I've been doing HDR photography for quite a while. The results can be quite stunning if done right. However like all good photography, when someone masters the method, the pictures all start looking the same from artist to artist. As my technique evolved it became very unique. Today anyone can pick out out one of my designs from a group of other images. For me this is great, it means that I'm recognized. It's sort of like picking out a Dali painting from the others. It's something quite unique.

I've been asked repeatably to create a lesson plan to make these. This is only a guide, I don't really want you to copy the technique. However since it involves drawing on the picture, the chances it will ever look the same is pretty far.

Canon EOS 1000D: frugal version of the EOS 450D

For some reason when it launched the Canon EOS 1000D (Rebel Xs), while sales of the EOS 450D is good-good. But now the 450D prices have nearly parallel to the semi-pro DSLR cameras like the Nikon D80 so that the shells are so pretty 1000D sought by the budget-minded, let alone 400D is now increasingly difficult to find. EOS 1000D was launched mid-year 2008 with a package of 18-55mm kit lens which has equipped the IS. This camera uses 10 MP CMOS sensor with 7 AF points and is able to achieve ISO 1600. Quite surprising to find that the 1000D is equipped with live-view, though still less stable than 450D. Shutter is fairly standard performance with 3 fps, and also a standard LCD screen with 2.5 inches.
