ISO on a DSLR

Fine, I'll try to continue the third step to control DSLR. Having mastered the Shutter Speed and Aperture Diaphragm or DSLR, then the next you need to know the ISO and then master it. Currently the average DSLR camera has an ISO ranging from 80 to 3200. Well, this ISO which is a DSLR technology advantages compared with previous SLR technology, which the ISO is to replace the existing ASA on the SLR.

You must never take pictures using film, now the ASA contained in a film can not be changed. This means that the film sensitivity to light depends on the type of ASA itself. Therefore sometimes you have to plan even see the situation first before using a film. Suppose you want to shoot the beach, where there are lighting conditions are full of direct sun, then of course you would choose film with low ASA, ASA 100 suppose. Why ASA 100, for a hundred ASA is the ASA that sensitivity to low light. Unlike in case you later want to do a photo shoot for the moment of marriage in the building that only rely on the building lights. You certainly have to use film that has high light sensitivity, eg, ASA 400. Well, this is one of the reasons that make the film with more attitude than ASA 200 ASA 100 and ASA 400, yes because it fil with 200 ASA has a current sensitivity, which means he's still good enough to be used in full direct sunlight conditions, or conditions less light or inside buildings (indoor).

And what about ISO?. ISO is the best facility which successfully created the technology of photography, because with this ISO, the sensitivity of the film (in a DSLR is the sensor) is no longer dependent on the film that will be used. This is because digital cameras, especially SLR provides a ready to set the ISO. You no longer need to look at the next moment, or what conditions would you capture, for easy settings you can even take pictures inside the room then exit the room without having to change the film. Think you can have a light sensitivity ranging from 80-3200. That same hope you have a film with 80, 100, 200, 400 ... ... 3200. This is what makes me say the best technology in the world of photography.

All you have to remember in the ISO control is the same as ASA, that means you must put the ISO's position in accordance with existing conditions. ISO is also the ultimate weapon when you really lack of light while the shutter speed and aperture is not possible anymore unexplored. But there are risks here. In some of middle DSLR camera, high ISO (from 400) it is probable Noise, therefore must be careful to use a high ISO.

Whether this is three steps starting from the familiar control DSLR shutter speed, aperture to ISO. I will continue with other steps on the other time, thanks. Good luck.
